Kathleen Ann Phillips Barrow, 73, of Thomson, Georgia, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. She was the wife of the late George Neal Phillips and the late Arthur Dave Barrow. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Reilly, and her sister, Julie Reilly.
Mrs. Barrow, “Kathy”, grew up in Bradley Beach and married George Neal Phillips. They lived in many different locations while Mr. Phillips served in the Military and in 1998 made Thomson, Georgia their home. She had worked for the United States Government serving in several capacities. Kathy had a servant's heart, and this was certainly demonstrated by her volunteer work with the Lion’s Club, Veterans Administration and numerous other organizations. She was a published author of Children’s books as well as a writer for Christian Magazines. Later after the death of her husband, George Neal Phillips, she married Arthur Dave Barrow where they both were members of First United Methodist Church of Thomson. Kathy always had a smile on her face.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael “Mike” Sean Phillips and Michelle Lee Phillips Williams; one grandson, Jared Austin Williams; and a special cousin, Beatrice Reilly.
