Mrs. Judith Ann Grant Lombardo, 75 of Cartledge Rd., Lincolnton entered into rest on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at her residence.
A visitation will be held from 5pm until 6pm at Beggs Funeral Home, Lincolnton on Sunday, December 4, 2022 followed by a celebration of life service. Another service will be held in Connecticut at a later date.
Mrs. Lombardo, daughter of the late Donald and Sophie Mancini Grant, was born on July 26, 1947 in New Britain, CT. where she grew up and graduated from New Britain High School. She resided in Connecticut most of her life and was employed as an office manager for Jerry’s Sports Center for many years. In 2004, she moved to Lincoln County and worked at Bell’s Grocery for a short time. She was a Yorkie fanatic and had many throughout the years.
She is survived by her husband Joseph Lombardo, Jr.; daughters, Dawn Aycock and husband Matthew of Lincolnton, Wendy Thibeault and Lori Coppola and husband Sal all of Connecticut; two step-sons, Nick Lombardo and Tim Lombardo; brother, Robert Grant of Lincolnton; six grandchildren, Alaytra Davis and husband David, Rhianna Aycock, Nicole Chachakis and husband Michael, Ashley Thibeault, Ryan Coppola, and Kelly Coppola; two great- grandchildren, Kaloni Davis and Micah Chachakis; her fur babies, Sassy and Silly; niece, Kate Talbot and husband Ethan; 1 great- niece and one great- nephew.
