Paul C. Reviere

Funeral Director's Assistant (Retired)

Growing up close to the funeral profession, Paul was born in 1951 and is a lifelong resident of Lincoln County. His father was a licensed funeral director which influenced his own interest. He began working part-time at the funeral home with the late E. Carlton Beggs at the age of thirteen. That association continued through high school until his graduation in 1969. He graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1973 returning to Lincoln County to teach third grade in the public school. He continued his association with the funeral home on a part-time basis while both teaching and serving as pastor of an area church. After retiring from the teaching profession in 2010, he assumed a full-time role at the funeral home in Lincolnton where he continued the Beggs family tradition of dedication to and respect for the families being served. Mr. Reviere was elected Sheriff of Lincoln County in 2017 after the unexpected death of Sheriff Bruce Beggs. The Beggs family is appreciative of his long-time commitment to our family's business and our community.
